About the Role
Discovery Place is a new and exciting childcare center in St. Louis County and we are looking for new team members! Lead teacher is a full time position caring for kids from two (2) to seven(7). Leads plan, implement and evaluate high-quality, innovative educational programs for our children in four classrooms. We offer competitive salary and benefits. Requirements
To succeed in this position you must possess:
clear CA/N and criminal background check
genuine interest in children
warm, positive and friendly attitude with kids and their families
willingness to obtain at least 12 clock hours of training per year
CPR-First Aid trained (training available on site)
great verbal and written communication skills
at least one year experience working in childcare
bilingual (French or Spanish) (optional but desired)
drug/alcohol free during work hours
Degreed or equivalent experience
